Vision & Mission

Pointe of Surrender (POS) has been birthed to repair the breach in the Body of Christ concerning the art of worship and discipleship through dance. In the year 2010 Director/Founder Erica Hill gave birth to the vision “Pointe of Surrender”; a called body of performers panting to live God’s standard of worship in skill, heart, and mind. Pointe of Surrender represents living at the point of surrender not just for a moment, but for a lifetime. We are blessed to share the joy and freedom of the arts with others, empowering them to find their surrender in God and in dance.

POS has been called to share Gods light and love to the community and abroad through performing art that edifies, exhorts, and comforts, embodying the hope of Christ and His great love for humanity. Our goal is to share and illustrate vision that sustains all who behold the beauty of treasure placed in earthen vessels.

POS provides both technical & spiritual training and application for skilled and aspiring dancers. We teach professionally to excel on any stage whether home or abroad. Families celebrate their students at recitals, community, city, & corporate performances and more.  POS serves students ages 2 through adult, nurturing and developing authentic creative expression in a healthy environment.

We provide discipleship, counsel, leadership, and community for dance leaders and ministries. We provide consulting to dance teams, young and old, marrying the excellence in technique to the purpose and mission of worship arts in the Body of Christ. We are here to cultivate the seed God has planted in those who are called to worship in dance and artistic expression.
